Biography

Paul is a principle of Pacific Therapy and manager of the Ventura location.  He received his bachelor’s degree and postgraduate education in Health Science – Physical Therapy and Exercise Physiology from Cal State University, Northridge. Throughout his college career Paul was fortunate to be a collegiate athlete starting as a quarterback on his junior college and university football teams.

Following graduation from physical therapy school, Paul became a staff member at Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital, where in addition to his staff member duties, was involved in program development in a sports injury clinic and a fitness assessment program for the surrounding community. In 1986 he completed a year-long residency program in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Kaiser-Permanente – Hayward Medical Center. In October of that same year he opened Pacific Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy Center which ultimately transitioned to Pacific Therapy Services, Inc in 1995.

Paul is an avid golfer enjoying traveling and cooking with friends.

Paul places focus on the “why” of symptom presentations not just on “what” the patient may feel as symptoms. For long-term self-care, patients must understand more than just what their current symptom may be, but more so the root cause of the symptom pattern.

Paul facilitated a patient centric focus as he began his clinical practice. It has remained the primary focus of the Pacific Therapy team for over a 30 year period of time. He feels honored to assist in the recovery process of patients.
